Four busted in Olive Hill sting

OCT. 23, 2013 — Four Olive Hill residents were busted in an undercover sting operation late Tuesday night.

John Mcguire, 58, Clyde Logan, 44, and Bonnie Butler, 34, were arrested in connection with a drug ring, according to a press release from the FIVECO Area Drug Enforcement Taskforce. All three are charged with first degree trafficking in a controlled substance. It is the second offense for both Logan and Butler.

Timothy Lawhorn, 31, was also arrested and charged with first degree fleeing and evading police and tampering with physical evidence.

FADE Detectives continue to investigate and further charges are pending. Detectives encourage the public to contact them anonymously at 606-836-0442 about any illegal drug activity in Greenup, Carter and Lewis Counties.

FADE Drug Task Force operates in Greenup, Carter and Lewis Counties and is compromised of officers from the Flatwoods, Russell, Raceland, Vanceburg and Olive Hill Police Departments and the Carter County Sheriff's Office.
