Oct. 16, 2013 — Carter Fiscal Court met Tuesday to discuss road issues, review quarterly reports and approve monthly financial statements.
Judge-Executive Charles Wallace started the meeting by recognizing recent PRIDE cleanup efforts, as well as Star Elementary School for being named a National Blue Ribbon School.
After reviewing the month’s financial statements, claims and transfers, the Court unanimously approved all expenditures presented by the county treasurer.
Fiscal Court also unanimously approved quarterly financial reports from the sheriff and county clerk, as well as a bid of $8,174.17 to install 320 feet of chain-link fence and two 20-foot gates at the county garage in Olive Hill.
Fiscal Court will hold its next regular meeting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, in Room 221 of the county courthouse.
