Students not harmed in bus crash


Oct. 16, 2013 — Grayson police are investigating a crash involving a school bus that happened last week.

According to the GPD, a bus was stopped on US 60 after school on Thursday. A Nissan was stopped behind the bus.

A Chevrolet Equinox came around a corner, rear ending the Nissan and pushing it into and partially under the bus.

Neither students nor anyone on the bus were injured according to Police Chief Kevin McDavid. The driver of the Nissan was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington and later released.

The names of the drivers are not being released. The accident is under investigation by Officer Jon McCormick.
