Wreck leads to meth arrest


April 2, 2014 — An Olive Hill man is facing multiple charges after a car accident led to his arrest.

John Rodgers, 52, was involved in a single vehicle accident on West US 60 near Olive Hill Sunday evening.

Carter County sheriff's deputies James Frint and Charles Jones were dispatched to the accident and found that Rodgers was impaired.

A methamphetamine lab and other unnamed drugs were found in his vehicle and on his person.

Rodgers is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/ alcohol, first degree possession of a controlled substance and manufacturing methamphetamine.
