17 indicted by Carter grand jury


July 24, 2013 —

James Nolen, 42, of Grayson, on one count of retaliating against a participant in a legal process, a Class D felony, by threatening to engage in conduct causing bodily injury and damage to tangible property of Carter Family Court Judge David Flatt. Nolen was also indicted on one count of second degree persistent felony offender, a Class C felony.

James D. Liles, 27, of Olive Hill, on one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a Class C felony, and one count of being a persistent felony offender, a Class B felony.

Randal Lucas, 23, of Grayson, on one count of driving on a DUI suspended licenses, third offense, a Class D felony.

Johnda Pfau, 33, of Grayson, on one count of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, second offense, a Class B misdemeanor, and one count of first degree wanton endangerment for having a child under 10 in the vehicle while operating it under the influence, a Class D felony.
