Two busted for meth

May 8, 2013 — Two persons were arrested Monday in Grayson on meth-related charges.

Kentucky State Police troopers Joey Vorbeck and David Hobbs followed up on a tip of a suspected methamphetamine lab on Karen Circle in Grayson.

Upon search of the residence and surrounding outbuildings troopers located a methamphetamine lab, finished product (methamphetamine) and several precursors used in methamphetamine production.

During the search Vorbeck was exposed to fumes from the lab and had to be transported to King’s Daughters Medical Center for evaluation. He was treated and later released.

Melissa B. Gollihue, 40, of Grayson, and William D. Lawson, 34, of Sandy Hook, were arrested. Both were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and first degree possession of a controlled substance.

Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Special Investigation also responded and assisted.

The investigation is ongoing by Trooper David Hobbs.
