June 26, 2013 — Seven individuals were indicted by a Carter County grand jury on June 14.
Assault, manufacturing methamphetamine, and theft were among the charges handed down.
Johnny M. Canterbury, 27, of Olive Hill, was indicted on one count of second degree assault, a Class C felony, for intentionally assaulting a man on March 31.
William D. Lawson, 34, of Sandy Hook, and Melissa B. Gollihue, 40, of Grayson, were indicted on one count of manufacturing methamphetamine, a Class B felony.
Also indicted were:
Carla Kiser, 46, of Olive Hill, one count of second degree persistent felony offender, a Class C felony.
Ronald L. Miller, 41, of Grayson, one count of receiving stolen property, a Class D felony.
Megan Helton, 23, of Olive Hill, one count of receiving stolen property, a Class D felony.
Eunice Clark, one count of second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
An indictment of a person by a grand jury is an accusation only and that person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
