14 indicted by Carter grand jury

Nov. 20, 2013 — An Olive Hill couple has been indicted for abusing minors in their care. 

David Arron Duvall, 35, was indicted on one count of first degree sexual abuse of a child under 12 years of age, a Class C felony.

He was also indicted on one count of first degree sex abuse of a second child under 16 years of age.

Melinda Duvall, 35, was indicted on one count of first degree criminal abuse of a child under 12 years of age, a Class D felony.

According to the indictment the charge was placed for leaving the child "in a situation that may cause serious physical injury." 

The grand jury handed down indictments on Nov. 8, which included the following individuals:

Clyde Logan, 44, of Olive Hill, on one count of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, a Class C felony, for allegedly selling 11 dosage units of oxycodone between Aug. 7 and Oct. 1.

Logan was also indicted on two counts of first degree trafficking of a schedule II controlled substance, a Class D felony.

 

John McGuire, 58, of Olive Hill, on two counts of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, a Class D felony. 

Timothy Lawhorn, 31, of Olive Hill, on one count of first degree trafficking in heroin, a Class C felony. 

Jayson L. Burton, 25, and Kylie J. Mulkey, 24, both of Grayson, on one count of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, a Class C felony.

Jack Grace, 32, Angela Brown, 32, and Lakin Glore, 19,all of Grayson, were indicted on one count of manufacturing methamphetamine, a Class B felony.

All three also were indicted on one count of first degree wanton endangerment, a Class D felony.

Bonnie Butler, 34, of Olive Hill, was indicted on one count of first degree trafficking in a schedule II controlled substance, a Class C felony.

Richard B. Tomlin, 25, of Olive Hill, was indicted on one count of cultivation of marijuana over five plants, a Class D felony.

Tomlin also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.

Jonathan Crum, 28, of Morehead, on one count of third degree burglary, a Class C felony, and one count of second degree persistent felony offender, a Class C felony.

Christopher Bush, 35, of Grayson, on one count of theft by unlawful taking of a firearm, a Class D felony, and one count of theft by unlawful taking over $500, a class D felony.

The indictment of a person by a grand jury is an accusation only. That person is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the state must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
