Oct. 23, 2013 — Three Grayson residents were arrested last week for methamphetamine production.
Lakin Glore, 19, Angela Brown,32, and Jack Grace, 28, were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, two counts of wanton endangerment and unlawful possession of a methamphetamine precursor.
Grayson Police officer Jon McCormick responded to a possible domestic disagreement call at Poplar Plains Apartments.
While conducting interviews, McCormick observed meth precursors and contacted Chief Kevin McDavid. Two children were in the home and were removed by Social Services.
"It appears that the children were in the home while meth was being made," McDavid said. "Without Officer McCormick's observations and diligence, those children might still be in danger."
All the apartments in the building were evacuated and Kentucky State Police's DESI unit cleaned up the contaminated scene.
Glore, Brown and Grace are being held in the Carter County Detention Center under a $50,000 cash bond.
The case remains under investigation by McCormick and further charges may be pending.
