Grayson teen killed in US60 crash

March 7, 2014 —

A Carter County teen was killed and several people were injured in a crash on US 60 Thursday evening near Cannonsburg.

Preliminary reports indicate that a female senior at East Carter High School was killed in the accident. Three memembers of her family were transported to the hospital after the crash, but their current condition is unknown.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash and several people were injured. No names or conditions have been released at this time.

The Kentucky State Police are investigating the accident and US 60 was closed for several hours Thursday evening while scene reconstruction took place.
