Seven arrested in Olive Hill bust

Dec. 5, 2012 —     Seven people were arrested Friday night following an investigation by the Olive Hill Police Department and FADE drug task force.

    Officers received several reports of suspicious activity at 360 Chili Street over the last few months and found two active methamphetamine labs when they arrived late Friday evening.  

    They also seized hydrocodone pills, marijuana and a firearm.

    Arrested were Tim Oakley, 48; Krista Binion, 32; Phillip Johnson, 27; Eric Barker, 36; Natasha Parsons, 23; Jack Binion, 33; and Sarah Terry, 30, all of Olive Hill.  

    All were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.  

    Parsons was also charged with tampering with physical evidence. Terry was picked up on four unspecified warrants and charged with theft of identity of another without consent and promoting contraband first degree.  

    Jack Binion also was served an unspecified bench warrant and charged with tampering with physical evidence, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, first degree possession of a controlled substance, persistent felony offender, first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

    All seven are lodged in the Carter County Detention Center.

    The case remains under investigation by officers from both agencies.
