Jan. 29, 2014 — A Carter County grand jury has indicted a Grayson man on two felony sex abuse charges.
Timothy L. Imes, 49, of Grayson, was indicted on one count of first degree rape of a juvenile under the age of 18 by forcible compulsion and first degree sodomy, both class B felonies.
According to the indictment, the alleged offenses were committed between last May 17 and the fall of 2013.
Imes was arrested on Tuesday and lodged in the Carter County Detention Center. No bond has been set.
Also indicted on Jan. 10 was Jeremy Kilgore, 35, of Olive Hill, on one count of receiving stolen property over $500, for allegedly possessing a 1997 Chevy Blazer, knowing it to be stolen and disposing of property at J & W Recycling with a value greater than $500, a Class D felony.
The indictment of a person by a grand jury is an accusation only. That person is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the state must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
