KVCV is a non-profit organization that was formed to not only give grieving families a place to go, but to also provide advocacy services to those who are left behind searching for answers.

Their mission, according to the group's Facebook page, is to honor the memory of those who died tragically and prematurely; to provide a place of comfort and quiet reflection for victims' loved ones and to heighten public awareness of the increasing number of victims and surviving loved-ones who carry the burden of violent crime.

Leeann Akers can be reached at or by phone at 474-5101.
