Sept. 11, 2013 — The Olive Historical Society presented its second production of Dining with the Past on Saturday evening.
The evening began with a dinner catered by Texas Roadhouse of Ashland and continued with story vignettes in the back of the “Old Olive Hill Cemetery.”
This production was similar to the first, but had updated dialogue and several new characters. Approximately 250 people attended the event, with most being quite impressed with the performances.
Directors, Diane Green and Jackie Callihan, said they were very impressed and proud of the professional acting done by the actors and the wonderful singing and musical performances during the show.
It was a large community endeavor involving vintage cars, horse drawn wagons, volunteers, actors and vocals. There are no new performances planned at this time.
