Heavy storm damage

July 1, 2009 With heavy rain and powerful winds, the home of Bobby Mayo on Rupert Lane was structurally damaged by a falling tree Thursday afternoon.

City Emergency Management was glad to report that Mrs. Mayo did get out of her house safely. Many residents within the city experienced broken tree limbs and roadways blocked.

The Grayson Fire and the City Street Departments responded to help those individuals in need. Power outages were reported throughout the city.
