Weekend event set to help "Make a Wish Foundation"

April 30, 2008 — Get ready to give to a good cause when Magic Money Marketing, Inc. promotes the “Make a Wish Foundation” during the grand re-opening of American Health Centers in Grayson.

The event is set for Saturday, May 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the health center. Joshua James, president of Magic Money said he believes the event will be an interesting occasion for the people of Carter County.

“It will be one of the more unique and insighful events that has ever taken place for Make A Wish due to the fact that we are doing something that nobody has ever done,” James commented. “I have several machines that are taking pennies, stretching them out and printing the Make A Wish log onto each one.

“Because of what the meaning of the penny provides, we simply turn that penny into something that someone can keep among themselves personally to know that they contributed to a great cause,” James added.

The event will include food, refreshment, live music, kid’s play zone and more. Among the bands to appear include, One in the Chamber, Faded, Third Circle, Lost Krause and C.O.G.

“Make A Wish is pleased that we have come so far and we look forward to great things out of Grayson and all of Carter County eventually covering the whole state of Kentucky,” James said. For more information about the event call 475.0000.
