Ministers host gathering against drug abuse

Feb. 6, 2013 — The editor:

On Monday, Feb. 25,  New Beginnings Assembly of God is inviting area pastors to a meeting of pastors and ministers who are genuinely concerned about this terrible epidemic of drug addiction and abuse of prescription and illicit medications.

To bring us to this unity we have invited Brother Doug Abner of Manchester, KY to join us as he shares the great movement of God in Clay County. Brother Doug has been very involved with the prayers of faith and the community coming together. He and Pastor Ken Bolin of First Baptist Church of Manchester spearheaded the efforts of numerous pastors as their county and southeastern Kentucky came together.

In such a time as this we need all pastors and ministry leaders to come together with the one purpose of unifying the Body of Christ in prayer and agreement. Please do your best to be a part of this great meeting.

The lunch will be held Monday, Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place at the New Beginnings Assembly of God church at 100 Promise Land Drive in Grayson.  Please RSVP for meal purposes.
