Wet-dry vote will affect entire county

As a legal voter, may I speak about a subject that affects everyone in our area?

"What Happens in Vegas....."

Most of us are acquainted with the phrase "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." That must be the mindset of the powers that be who made the rule that only the Grayson precincts get to vote on the upcoming issue of 'wet or dry'. Who these powers are, I do not know, but I am one hundred percent sure that the liquor that will be sold in "Grayson" (if the vote goes wet,) will spill out into the whole county. Even to those of us who did not get the right to vote against it.

Tell me how this is fair. Why not at least have a county-wide vote? Could it be that these aforementioned powers are afraid that the result of the vote would not be what they want? We all know what this is all about don't we? MONEY. There is no good to come from having legal liquor sales. The only ones who profit are the people selling it, and the ones collecting taxes. How mixed up our thinking is when instead of fighting against poison and devices of sin, we make them legal. Legal or not, it doesn't make it right.

Everyone who has a part in helping this to happen, is guilty of every drink that someone takes from these resulting sales, and the sickness it causes and yes, even the deaths of those who buy, and die because of this 'legal' poison. God has already blessed America, now I pray for Him to have mercy on America just a little longer. Thank you.
