Summer Reading Program well supported

July 31, 2013 — The editor:

    The Carter County Public Library would like to take a moment to thank those who assisted in making our 2013 Summer Reading Program such a success.

    The library was able to engage approximately 1200 children ages birth to 18 via the program. 

    Our expression of gratitude to the following: Carter County Public Schools, WUGO/WGOH Radio, Cash Express, West Carter High School, East Carter Middle School, Olive Hill Elementary, West Carter High School Y Club, West Carter High School Library, Grahn Community Center, Carter Caves State Resort Park, Grayson Lake Marina, Carter County Soil Conservation District, Morehead State University, Grayson Fire Department, Carter County Extension Service, Friends of the Carter County Public Library, Carter County Public Library Board of Trustees, Olive Hill Times/Grayson Journal Enquirer, Eastern Kentucky Voice, Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives, and the Kentucky Department of Education.
