Pleasant Valley Cemetery in need of funds

May 14, 2014 — The editor:

Once again we are in need of help from everyone who owns or have loved ones buried in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. We have already begun the mowing season and as usual funds are very low. Your dues of $35 for the 2014 mowing season are now due. Please send your contribution according to the grave sites you have. Please make checks payable to Pleasant valley Cemetery. P.O. Box 123 Grahn, Ky 41142.

We would like to thanks those of you who have been so faithful to send your dues each year which has enabled us to have a cemetery we can all be proud of. We are unable to reach many people who own lots or family members who would contribute to the upkeep of their plots. If you would like to help with this effort to collect these addresses, all help would e greatly appreciated.

Due to EPA regulations, there can no longer be any burning of plastics, etc. at the cemetery. Therefore, we are asking everyone to dispose of their own flowers/ containers, otherwise the board will have to pay to have these-removed,using money from our mowing fund.

All donations are greatly appreciated.
