Trade Days a success

(Continued)

Oct. 17, 2012 —

In closing, I would like to apologize to any of our restaurant’s patrons for any mistakes in your orders or the length of time taken that we made during your visit.  We are far from being professional but believe me when I say that any mistakes made were from the mind and not from the heart as we hoped your visit would be memorable and that the food would remind you of the meals that you were accustomed to while growing up.  (That is, if your mother or grandmother was a good cook.)

I would also like to thank all the Staff of volunteers at Papaw’s for the extra effort that they put out during this event.  You are beyond a doubt the most dedicated and greatest group that I have ever worked with.  Good job!

Also deserving thanks is Myra Hogan, Editor of the Eastern Kentucky Voice, Tim Preston of the Daily Independent,  (Thanks Tim, we had many out of county visitors from Boyd and Greenup County that said they had read your fine article), and to Keith Kapppes and Leeann Akers of the Journal-Times for their coverage and support of our program.  And last, but certainly not least, I thank you Anna Kimmel and Charlie Collier for your generous contribution of the usage of your properties to allow the holding of this fun and worthwhile event.  May God Bless each and every one of you!
