Visit local businesses on Nov. 30

Nov. 27, 2013 — The editor:

The Grayson Area Chamber of Commerce is helping to promote “Shop Small Business Saturday” for Nov. 30.

Small businesses are the heartbeat of the community. They are the corner stores that create jobs. The hardware stores that help build our economy. And the mom and pop shops whose very presence makes a neighborhood our neighborhood.

Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small business across the county. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

The Grayson Area Chamber of Commerce salutes it 2013 members for supporting Grayson and the area.
