Recognizing volunteers at Carter Nursing and Rehab

April 24, 2013 — To the Editor:

Over the past 27 years, Carter Nursing and Rehab Center has been richly blessed with wonderful people known as volunteers.

As I see the smiles on our residents' faces when each of you come to visit, I stop and think how blessed we are to live in a community where caring and love and shared so freely!

We sometimes take for granted in the rush of all we do, and forget to say a special thanks to wonderful volunteers like you. So during National Volunteers' Week, we would like to say thank you for the many hours of caring, kindness and love you have given to our residents.
