Letter to the Editor

On behalf of the Carter County Sheriff’s Department Relay For Life Team, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone who had any part of any kind in helping our team to reach our goal of $5,000.00 plus.

I would love to mention everyone individually but I know I would leave someone out and I do not want that to happen. We had so many people who contributed, donated, worked, volunteered or simply “encouraged” us in our team efforts in this fight.

I would like to personally thank Vickie Salyers for her donation of six (6) bicycles to The American Cancer Society for fundraisers and for prizes for The Kids Walk. I want everyone to know that your help did not go unnoticed. So again thanks and hopefully we’ll see each and every one of you next year!
