April 29, 2009 — Thanks to school bus driver and monitor

Editor,

Before school adjourns, I would like to personally thank some people for an exceptional job. I have a 4 year old son and his life has been made so much easier due to these two lovely ladies: Linda Brock, bus driver, and Linda Carroll, school bus monitor.

They are two of The Carter County Board of Education’s Transportation System’s very best. Due to their kind, loving, fun way and safety practices on the bus, my son loves his bus ride. I would also like to express my gratitude and appreciation to Heritage Elementary, especially his teacher, Susan Coffee, and her assistant Miss Misty. They are both a fine example of what every teacher should strive to be like. I believe when a child starts off with such positive experiences: the bus ride, the teacher, the school, etc., they feel safe and secure. These positive experiences will last throughout his school years. I for one, truly hope The Carter County Board of Education and Transportation recognizes what caring, wonderful, genteel ladies they have working for them, I certainly know I do and I thank each and every one of you.
