KCU’s Keyes named to All-Commonwealth team


April 3, 2013 — Kentucky Christian University Senior defensive end Isaiah Keyes was recently named to the 2012-13 ALL-Commonwealth Team by the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame.

KY Pro Football HOF began awarding these honors with the 2011-12 team. Players from every Kentucky college and university are eligible for selection, and the selectees represent the best college football players in Kentucky.

In 11 games last season, Keyes had 36 tackles, including 18 by himself. He recorded six sacks for a loss of 50 yards for the 6-4 Knights. Knight was a senior transfer from Mt. Olive, Miss. He played at West Virginia Tech before coming to KCU.

The All-Commonwealth Team will be honored on stage on June 28 at the Louisville Palace Theater as part of the 2013 KY Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
