July 23, 2008 — The 2008 Carter County Fair Book has been printed and is included in the July 23, 2008 edition of the Grayson Journal-Enquirer and Olive Hill Times.

• 2:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. Exhibit Registration for Horticulture/ Agriculture, etc.

• 3 p.m. Miss Carter County Fair Beauty Pageant

ADMISSION TO PAGEANT -- $2

East Carter Middle School Gymnasium

Open to contestants from Carter, Rowan, Elliott, Lawrence, Boyd, Lewis and Greenup Counties. Winner must attend fair.



Monday, August 4

ADMISSION TO GROUNDS - FREE!

• 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Exhibit Registration for Horticulture/Agriculture, etc.

• 6 p.m. Exhibit Hall open for viewing

• 6 p.m. Casey's Rides -- Carnival rides up and running Carnival Ride All Night Armbands will cost $12.

• 6 p.m. On-site registration for talent show at main stage

• 6 p.m. Livestock: 4-H, FFA and Open Dairy & Beef Cattle Show

• 7 p.m. CARMICHAEL EQUIPMENT Hay Bale Toss Competitions

• 7 p.m. WLGC RADIO Talent Show



Tuesday, August 5
