June7, 2012 — Both the Carter County Fiscal Court and Grayson City Council are holding special meetings this week.
Grayson City Council will meet today, Thursday, at 5 p.m. The regular monthly meeting is generally held on the second Tuesday of each month, however, Mayor George Steele will be unable to attend next week.
The agenda covers regular monthly reports from each department, and discussion of the KCU bond issue.
The Carter County Fiscal Court will hold a special meeting on Friday at 10 a.m. This is the second special meeting held this week.
The much-debated ordinances about the regional jail alliance between Boyd and Carter counties are not on the agenda. The Court will address several items that concern the road department, its budget, and needed repairs.
Also on the agenda is the changing of the date and time of the regularly scheduled Fiscal Court meetings each month.
