Four arrested in Olive Hill bust

Jan. 20, 2012 — Four Olive Hill residents were arrested in a drug raid Thursday.

Detectives with the F.A.D.E. Drug Task Force along with officers from the Olive Hill Police, Carter County Sheriff Department, and Vanceburg Police Department were working an undercover investigation in Olive Hill. During the investigation detectives found a large quantity of illegal drugs including cocaine and prescription pain pills. Detectives also found numerous firearms.

Arrested were:

Mark Buckler, 41, who was charged with Trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of firearm by convicted felon. Jennifer Roe, 30, was charged with possession of controlled substance. Michael Holbrook, 52, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of controlled, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Janet King, 29, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of controlled and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.

All four are lodged in the Carter County Detention Center.
