ServSafe food safety course offered


04/25/13 — ServSafe Food Safety Training and Certification Testing is being offered by Ashland Community and Technical College to help food service managers and employees protect their customers, employees and business.

The class will be held Thursday, May 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Friday, May 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon at ACTC’s Technology Drive Campus.

ServSafe is a national certification program sponsored by the National Restaurant Association. Training topics include basic food safety, personal hygiene, cross-contamination, time and temperature considerations, cleaning and sanitation.

Training, lunch and certification testing is included. Preregistration is required, and enrollment is through Workforce Solutions. Email or 606-326-2238 for more informaiton.
