ACTC Dean's List

Feb. 19, 2014 —     Ashland Community and Technical College has named 63 students from Carter County to the Dean’s List for Fall Semester 2013. Dean’s List students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) on at least 12 credit hours in courses numbered 100 and above.     The Carter County school system has announced that, starting next month, it will offer a new evening welding certification class for adult students at its Carter County Career and Technical Center at Pleasant Valley near Olive Hill.

    Two Ashland Community and Technical College deans, both of whom are Boyd County residents, have moved into new positions in a reorganization process designed to improve processes and procedures and address new needs.

    Ashland Community and Technical College will offer a weekend Basic Rider 1 Course six times this summer to help new motorcyclists prepare for the road and earn a waiver for the license skills test.
