Spanish, Photography community classes scheduled at ACTC

July 31, 2013 — Ashland Community and Technical College is offering evening Spanish courses this fall to help students and area residents learn a second language.

Elementary Spanish I (SPA 101) is on Tuesdays from 6:30-9:15 p.m., and Elementary Spanish II (SPA 201) is on Thursdays at

6:30 to 9:15 p.m. Both classes stress speaking, listening, reading and writing as target skills and emphasizes everyday language.

Both four-credit Spanish classes will be held at the College Drive Campus. Classes start Aug. 19, and Aug. 5, is the application deadline Applications are on the web at

Photography classes scheduled

Ashland Community and Technical College will offer three photography classes taught by J. Bird Cremeans, an area photographer and artist.

Intro to Photography will meet Mondays, Aug. 5 through Sept. 16, from 6:30-8 p.m.

Intro to Photography Part 2 will meet Tuesdays, Aug. 6 through Sept. 10, from 6:30-8 p.m. Photoshop will meet Wednesdays,

Aug. 7 through Sept. 11, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
